United Methodist Homes is currently hiring a full-time LPN Employee Health Nurse- Staff Education. 

What will I do?

  • Assists the RN Staff Development Coordinator/Employee Health in performing annual employee health screenings for employees and volunteers, including PPD administration and reading.
  • Monitors, tracks, coordinates and assists in maintaining the campuses employee health vaccination and testing programs of its employees as directed by the RN Staff Development Coordinator.
  • May participate in Return-to-Work discussions for employees who have been out of work for health reasons to ensure appropriate analysis of reasonable accommodations.
  • Assists with the delivery of education to staff members both in a classroom and unit-based setting as directed.
  • Utilizes the online Learning Management System to assign online education to appropriate employees, and assist management in tracking, documenting, and reporting on completion status as directed.
  • Assist in the development of education curriculum. May take content ownership responsibility for one or more online education modules.
  • Attends care plan conferences, as necessary.
  • Must understand and follow all HIPAA Guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What do I need for this role?

  • Current and valid LPN license in New York State
  • Experience in teaching or educating staff on Long Term Care regulations and policies.
